OVERVIEW

Sleep problems were among the most challenging behavioral symptoms of dementia. Sleep will get worse as we get older. There is a clinical sleep disorder underlying that is not being addressed earlier on in older age, then it can become worse and can develop into several diseases including dementia. They also affect the sleep and the coping ability of family carers. 

In today's episode, I am joined by Dr. Rosie Gibson PhD, RPSGT, she has a background in both psychology and clinical sleep medicine and will share with us her research among patients and families dealing with dementia. She will also give tips to promote the Circadian system that can help improve our overall sleep health.
