Ep077: Make Friends and Break Through Loneliness - With Dr. Dorsay

OVERVIEW

There are many reasons why most people cannot sleep peacefully at night. It can be due to stress, health, work issues, finances, or sometimes the strong feeling of loneliness. The thought of having no one that would be there for you especially if your facing problems or someone that can listen to you when you need to vent out your anger or happiness can cause sleep problems. We always need friends aside from our family. Someone that we trust and makes us feel loved and accepted. In this pandemic, it’s not only our health that is being tested but also our relationship with our friends. Who will stay and who will forget. So the question is do you have this kind of friend who can stick with you through thick and thin? What kind of friend do you have?

For this week’s episode, I interviewed Dr. Adam Dorsay. He is a licensed psychologist and a certified executive coach working in private practice in San Jose CA. Dr. Dorsay also has his own podcast entitled SuperPsyched. In this episode, we talked about the importance of having and making good friends. How it can affect our sleep and health state. Cliché as it may sound but indeed no man is an island we all need each other to survive and to live a wonderful life.
