OVERVIEW
There is a saying that “time heals all wounds” but for those people dealing with trauma, it’s not how it goes. For them, they need to face each day with a fear that they might be caught in that awful situation again. The impact that it had created in their life stays no matter how many years had passed. There are lots of stages that they need to go through to slowly have their normal life back. Dealing with trauma is a lifelong journey of healing and recovery.
For this week’s episode, I will be joined by Ashley Michelle a trauma survivor and now an advocate of helping other people dealing with trauma. She is also an author and just recently released her book entitled “Find Strength Through Tragedy”. In this episode, Ashley shares her personal experience on how she survived a life and death situation that eventually lead to her lifelong battle with trauma. She also shares how she managed to cope up with these traumatic events in her life. For Ashley healing from trauma should start by believing in yourself and turning each painful moment into strength.
